In Sefer Yetzirah, the Seven Doubles in Time are the 7 days of the week - based on the Story of Creation in the Book of Genesis.

The scene in the circle (in the yellow ring) represents the 1st Day of Creation - when God created Light, separated it from the Dark, and “saw that the Light is Good”.

Moving clockwise to the next circle (in the orange ring) represents the 2nd Day - when God separated the upper and lower Waters to form the Sky and Sea.

The next scene (in the red ring) represents the 3rd Day - when God formed Dry Land; and told the Land to bring forth Plants.  “God saw that it is Good” twice on this 3rd Day.

The next scene (in the purple ring) represents the 4th Day - when God made the Sun, Moon and Stars, and “saw that it is Good”.

The next scene (in the blue ring) represents the 5th Day when God told the Waters to bring forth Fish and Birds to fill the Sea and Sky, and “He saw that it is Good”.

The scene (in the green ring) represents the 6th Day of Creation - when God told the Dry Land to bring forth Land Animals; and He formed Adam in His Image.  The text says, “God saw that it is Good” twice on this 6rd Day (as it does on the 3rd Day).

The central scene (in the brown ring) represents the 7th Day - Shabbat - a ‘taste’ of Eternity, which is beyond and within Time.  The 7th position here is a fractal - all 6 scenes are inside this one, and it zooms in (representing the past when the Universe was smaller) and it zooms out (representing the future because the Universe is expanding).  Shabbat receives from all the previous 6 Days and blesses the coming 6 Days.

Contemplate the symmetry in the Story of Creation - how Day 1 and 3 are about Light; 2 and 4 are about the Sky and Sea; 3 and 6 are about Land) - and the imperfect symmetry of this picture.   Creation in general was made intentionally incomplete, so that we can be partners with God in the process of Tikkun Olam - repairing and completing the world.
