"7 Doubles are the Foundation of 3 opposite 3 with the one deciding between them."  (Sefer Yetzirah)

In terms of colors, ‘3’ are the 3 primary colors - blue, red and yellow.  The ‘opposite 3’ are their complements - orange, green and purple.  Like in the 6-pointed Star of David (Magen David) seen here.  One triangle (pointing down) is made with the primary colors and another triangle (pointing up) is made with the complementary colors - ‘3 opposite 3’.  These 6 colors are also the six rings that are linked around the 6 points of this Magen David - each colored ring opposite its complement. A large white circle runs through these rings, representing how white light is formed by all the colors of the rainbow.  In the center of the Star of David is a brown ring - ‘the one that decides between them’. I f you take any color (of paint not light) and mix it together with its complement you get brown.

"7 Doubles in Space are Up and Down, East and West, North and South and the Holy Palace precisely in the center and it carries them all." (Sefer Yetzirah)

This picture can be seen as a 3-dimensional space.  I got this motif from the artist M. C. Escher.   You can see the center point as either going in or coming out - or both.  If you focus your eyes on the center point, relax them and breathe, a transparent cube can be seen inside the large white hexagon.  A cube has 6 faces, and the Space it contains (or the center) is the Holy Palace.
