Three Mothers Mandala

In
the Sefer Yetzirah (Book of Creation), the twenty-two
Hebrew letters are presented as three groups:Three Mothers,
Seven Doubles, and Twelve Elementals.
The Three Mother Letters are Aleph,
Mem and Shin, which represent Wind,
Water and Fire. In my art they are shown as primary colors -
yellow, blue and red; and as primary shapes - circle, rectangle
and triangle.
This meditative image or mandala is
comprised of three Shins, seven Alephs
and twelve Mems.
