Horizontal, vertical and diagonal
'lines' of Hebrew letters weave ten colorful 'points'
(Ten Sefirot) into an energetic (three-dimensional)
pattern which kabbalists call the "Tree of Life".
They say that the Tree of Life is a map of how the
Infinite is revealed in the macrocosm (the universe)
and the microcosm (man) at once.
The three higher Sefirot (Keter/Will,
Chochmah/Wisdom, Binah/Understanding)
comprise the 'Mind', and the seven lower Sefirot
(Chesed/Kindness, Gevurah/Strength, Tiferet/Harmony,
Netzach/Dominance, Hod/Submission, Yesod/Sexuality,
Malchut/Receptivity) compromise the 'Body'.
Daat/Knowledge (the white point) represents
the connection between our Mind and Body.
The four horizontal lines form a 'ladder' of ascent
whose colors and letters hint at the Four Elements:
Earth, Water, Air, and Fire.
